As part of the university’s ongoing emphasis on making Missouri S&T a welcoming environment for all students, faculty, staff and visitors, the office of human resource services, affirmative action, diversity and inclusion has been restructured into the Division of Human Resources, Equity and Inclusion. The division is responsible for S&T’s human resources, diversity and inclusion initiatives; affirmative action and Equal Employment Opportunity oversight and planning; equity issues; and oversight of the university’s Title IX compliance.

The office of Human Resources is responsible for implementing all campus and system human resources plans and initiatives, including talent management, union relations, employee relations, recruitment and total rewards.

Institution Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

Deputy, Campus Title IX Coordinator

The office of Institution Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is responsible for advancing diversity, inclusion and equity throughout the campus community by administering the daily operations related to Title IX and civil rights initiatives. The office works with the vice chancellor to develop and lead strategic programs and initiatives that provide for work and learning enrichment through diversity, inclusion, affirmative action, employment and educational equity, education and prevention of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, among other campus initiatives focused on the quality of life and sustaining a supportive, inclusive environment for faculty, staff, and students.
